SAP Condition Contract Management
– compact for specialist managers and decision-makers.
01 What is Condition Contract Management (CCM) & Typical Vulnerabilities Without CCM?
SAP CCM is the current standard solution within SAP S/4HANA for the management and settlement of condition agreements with business partners – discounts, bonuses, commissions and subsequent compensation. CCM is part of the overall component SAP Settlement Management and completely replaces the classic SD and MM bonus processing.
Many companies still manage conditions today in Excel, heterogeneous systems or even on paper. This leads to a lack of real-time transparency, manual billing processes with high error risk and system breaks between purchasing, sales and accounting. CCM addresses this by a central, structured filing of all agreements and full integration into the S/4HANA core processes.
Details02 What do I need to consider when switching from SAP ERP SD/MM bonus to SAP CCM?
With the switch to SAP S/4HANA, the migration to CCM is absolutely necessary : The classic SD/MM bonus processing from SAP ECC is no longer available in S/4HANA. This is not an optional topic, but a strategic must for each transformation path on S/4HANA.
Typical risks lie in incomplete data migration, lack of interface definition to adjacent systems, and underestimated training needs. gicom provides a structured migration service with Discovery Phase, concept, and implementation-accompanying support.
Details03 What business scenarios does SAP CCM cover?
CCM covers scenarios along both directions: In purchasing (procure-to-pay), supplier conditions such as purchasing bonuses, volume discounts and annual agreements are mapped. In sales (order-to-cash), customer bonuses, commission and refund agreements as well as central regulation are managed. In addition, CCM provides scenarios for agency business and industry-specific requirements from retail, wholesale and consumer industries.
Details04 How does the process cycle in the CCM work – from the agreement to the FI booking?
The core process follows a clearly defined cycle: create a contract → condition contract with all conditions and billing rules. Revenue acquisition → Real-time processing from SD and MM. Delimitation → automatic reset determination. Billing → Settlement with credit, direct debit or payment. FI Booking → seamless integration into financial accounting.
Details05 What is the difference between CCM and gicom solutions for agreement management?
SAP CCM maps billing management – calculation, delimitation and billing of conditions. gicom expands this with the agreement management : system-supported digitization and documentation of negotiations, simulation option for condition scenarios and workflow support. This creates a real end-to-end approach – from negotiation preparation to billing posting.
DetailsOur technical services along the entire condition and billing management – for your topics, your processes, your requirements.
End-to-end with gicom: Each new round of negotiations builds on validated real-time data from the previous cycle. gicom closes the gap between agreement and billing management – which SAP CCM alone does not cover.
